This one has been modified by Maltec Leichbautechnologie in Germany using a Heritage Edition as the base vehicle and then adding a custom carbon-fiber rear cabin. There’s a pop-out roof, electric water heater, cabin heater, and roof-mounted solar panels. The cabin has teak flooring and countertops, two beds, and a kitchenette with sink and fridge. It also gets upgraded suspension bits, protective skid plates, a Warn winch, snorkel, custom bumpers, a bevy of roof-mounted LED lights, and an additional 12.5-gallon fuel tank. It just sold for a hefty sum at Bring-A-Trailer, with the winning bidder probably very happy with his new off-grid beast.
